KARL DEPASQUALE
B.SC (HONS.) PHYSIOTHERAPY, FELLOWSHIP DIP. (SPORTS REHAB.), PGDIP. FOOTBALL PHYSICAL TRAINER, HEALTH FITNESS INSTRUCTOR, SPORTS ACUPUNCTURE PRACTITIONER
Karl graduated as a physiotherapist in 2002 from the University of Malta. Since then he has worked in both the public and private sector in different branches of physiotherapy. He has particular interest in the musculoskeletal field, tackling all kinds of problems ranging from biomechanical and postural analysis to injuries of sport and work alike. Karl holds a diploma in Sports Rehabilitation and another in Football physical training. He is a qualified Fitness Instructor and uses the skills he acquired to further assist him in his treatment and injury prevention work.
Karl has also recently undertaken a Foundation certificate in Medical Acupuncture and Dry needling as well as another certificate in Acupuncture in Sports Medicine and Performance.
SIMON GOUDER
B.SC (HONS.) PHYSIOTHERAPY, M.SC
Simon graduated from the University of Malta with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physiotherapy in 2004. Since then, he has worked in various sectors in the Health Sector, both in the public sector as well as in a private hospital. In the public sector, he has worked in orthopaedics, neurology, musculoskeletal amongst other areas and he currently is working in the Hand Therapy Service. In 2010, he graduated from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle with an M.Sc. Degree.
Throughout his career, he has attended various courses and conferences both in Malta and overseas and has underwent a training experience at Istituto Mediterraneo per i Trapianti e Terapie ad Alta Specializzazione (ISMETT). He is currently undergoing the British Association of Hand Therapy (BAHT) accreditation.
DARREN SILLATO
B.SC (HONS.) PHYSIOTHERAPY, PGDIP. GAIT ANALYSIS, PGDIP. FOOTBALL PHYSICAL TRAINER, HEALTH FITNESS INSTRUCTOR.
Darren graduated from the University of Malta in 2002. Since then he has worked both in the public and in private sector. He has followed up post graduate diplomas in physical instruction and football physical training in 2004 and 2011 respectively. He has been working in clinical biomechanical analysis since 2011 in Malta, Oxford and studying in Dundee, and is currently reading for a Masters Degree in Biomechanics.
