JOINT MOBILISATIONS

These are targeted at joints that have become less mobile are resulting in joint dysfunction, stiffness and sometimes pain. Mobilisations help loosen and stretch the soft tissues around the joint as well as returning the pliability of the joint.

THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE

These are exercises prescribed to correct impairment and improve or maintain musculoskeletal function. It may vary from highly selected activities restricted to specific muscles or parts of the body, to general and vigorous activities that can you return to the peak of physical condition.


STRAPPING AND TAPING

Supporting taping and strapping tape is utilised to obtain stability and support at a joint or reduce loading of painful structures or facilitate normal movement. This includes rigid strapping tape, elastic strapping tape and kinesiology tape.

ELECTROTHERAPY

Different modalities that aid in pain relief as well as stimulate the repair of soft tissues are used. These include Ultrasound, Interferential, TENS and Laser therapies. EMS can also be used to rehabilitate muscle strength through muscle fibre recruitment.

INJURY PREVENTION SCREENING

By carrying out certain tests and measurements we can help you and your athletes decrease the amount of injuries by highlighting weak areas and sites of imbalance.

BIO-MECHANICAL ANALYSIS

Through visual and video graphic analysis of your movements, together with an array of functional and anthropometric measurements we can give you a clear picture of how you are moving.

ACUPUNCTURE & DRY NEEDLING

Based on scientific research and clinical evidence Acupuncture can help reduce pain by stimulating the nervous system to release natural pain-relieving chemicals. It can also assist in injury rehabilitation. This is achieved though the insertion of thin needles into specific points.
